Dilli wali papdi bhalla chaat

You can't be in India and not try this typical north indian street food. Papdi( flour based chips) served with boiled chickpeas, boiled potatoes , black gram lentil dumplings dipped in yougurt mixed with dried spices and drizzle it with tamarind chutney, mint chutney chopped cilantro and juilan ginger on top and some krispies like sev.


2 cups papdi( flour based ) if you make it at home I will put another post on the recipe for this. You can buy it readymade from an Indian grocery store.

2 boiled poatoes -peeled and chopped.

1 cup boiled chickpeas.

Sprinkle salt according to taste , roasted cumin seeds grind it in powder form, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

4-5 Dahi bhalla ( black urad dal dumpling dipped in sweet yogurt) Add 1/2 teaspoon sugar in the yogurt.

Now drizzle 3 tablespoons of tamaraind sauce and 3 tablespoons of mint coriander chutney.

Top it with Sev-crispies and julian ginger to darnish with cilantro.
