Kaddu( pumpkin)

Ingredients:

Chopped pumpkin 1 cup

2 tablespoons oil

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1/4th tsp fenugreek seeds

1/4th tsp asafetida

Salt according to taste

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp grated ginger

Chopped cilantro for garnish


In a pan add oil and heat it. Add all the seeds then asafetida. Then add the ginger toss it with dry spices then add the chopped pumpkin ( kaddu) and cover with the lid. Add 2 tablespoons water and cover let it cook in simmer mode toss it well and add cilantro for garnish. Serve with chapati.
