Keema Aloo-( Minced Chicken with Potatoes)

Ground chicken cooked with veggies and spices .

Ingredients: 2 lbs chicken
1 medium sized chopped onions
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
2 tomatoes
1/4th cup yogurt
1/4th cup fresh mint leaves
salt to taste
2 chopped green chillies
1 teaspoon garam masal
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/4th teaspoon turmeric
1/4th teaspoon cardamon powder
1 medium sized potato-peeld and chopped
3 tablespoons avocado oil
Cilantro to garnish
In a wok ad oil and put the cinnamom stick ,once it is warm add the onions and ginger garlic paste.Cook till it is golden brown, and add garam masal, turmeric and salt. After giving it a stir, add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 7-8 minutes and then add the green chillies and red chilli powder. Add a few tablespoons of water and then put the ground chicken in this and keep stirring and make sure all the spices are mixed well. Add the chopped potatoes and chopped mimt on top. Cover it and cook for 8-10 minutes on low to medium heat. Keep checking and stirring it. Now open the lid cook till the moisture evaporates and add the whisked yogurt and give it a good stir. Cook for 5-6 minutes and garnish with cilantro. Serve with bread/naan or roti.
