Potato curry with tomatoes

Potatoes with tomatoes , cumin seeds and curry leaves.

Ingredients:
3-4 mediem sized potatoes diced.
4 tomatoes medium sized pureed or grated
1 sliced green chilli
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon kalonji(onion seeds)
1/4th teaspoon caraway seeds-ajwain
pinch of asafetida
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teapoon turmeric powder
5-6 curry leaves
2 tablespoons oil
In Instant pot on saute mode add oil. Let it warm up then add cumin seeds , onion seeds and caraway seeds . Once it starts crackling add the grated or pureed tomatoes. Now add salt and the dry spices . Give it a good stir. Add the potatoes and curry leaves and 2 cups of water . Switch the saute mode off. If you wanta thicker curry add 1 cup water and 1/2 cup whisked greek yogurt. Seal the cover to vent and put it on manual pressure for 2 minutes. Quick release and wait a few minutes before you open it. Serve with hot pooris or chapati.
